Chicken Chargha Recipe (by Chef Zakir)
Chicken Charga is a popular Indian and Pakistani Roasted Chicken Recipe. This version is taken from the Recipe of Chef Zakir.
- Chicken- 1 whole
- Yogurt – 250 g
- Turmeric Powder- 1 Tbsp
- Hot Spice Powder – 2 Tbsps
- Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 Tbsps
- Vinegar – 1/4 Cup
- Red Chilly Powder – 3 Tbsps
- Salt – 2 taste
- Oil- For deep Frying
Boil chicken for 10 minutes with oil and water. Rinse and drain. Marinate the boiled chicken in chilly, turmeric, hot spice powder, salt , ginger garlic paste and vinegar. Steam cook the marinated chicken for 15 minutes. Deep fry the steam cooked chicken until it turns brown. Garnish with lemon and Lettuce. Serve hot.
