Gulab Jamun Recipe (By Chef Rahat)
- Powder Milk – 1 cup
- Semolina (Suji) – half cup
- All purpose Flour – half cup
- Unsweetened Khoya – half cup
- Baking Powder – quarter teaspoon
Oil or Ghee – According to need
- Sugar – two cups
- water – 1 cup
- Green Cardamom – 8 cloves
Mix sugar and water and cook on low flame . When syrup is changing color and seems thick put cardamom and remove from the flame and place aside. Mix powder milk, flour, baking powder , khoya and suji very well. Use some luke warm milk to mix it well. When all ingredients are well blended make small balls. Heat oil or ghee in a pan or wok and put it on heat. When it is warm enough fry these balls till they turn brown.
Put the brown balls in sugar syrup. Leave for some time until they fully soak the syrup and ready to serve.
