Shami Kabab (Kebab) is a very popular Pakistani dish. You can make these kababs and freeze these in your freezer, defrost and fry to serve guests. A ready to cook snack.

Pakistani Shami kabab Recipe by Rahat

  • Boneless Beef  - 500 g
  • Split Chickpeas ( Chana Daal) – 250 g
  • Ginger –  1 small piece
  • Garlic – 8 cloves
  • Whole red chillies – 8
  • Green Chillies – 6
  • Hot spice powder –  a pinch
  • Eggs – 2
  • Salt –  To taste
  • Oil


Boil meat, daal and all spices together in a pan. Grind everything really fine in a food processor. Add eggs and make round patties of this batter using your hands. Take oil in a pan and fry these. Yummy and Tasty traditional Pakistani Shami Kababs are ready. Have these with Chutney.
